05 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Tow

I will need it to haul a 1982 toyota 4x4 rockcrawler to various offroad parks on the east coast.

05 toyota tundra 4.7 tow. The Tundra is available with one of two engines. The 3UR-FE engine was the largest engine out of the three and it had the best. I also have the 06 Tunra wthe 47 - towing a 05 27 Zeppelin wslide dry wt 4700.

Need some input. 2301 length 705 height. The towing capacity for the 2008 and 2007 Tundras ranged from 4800-10800 lbs.

This is a great forum. Found a 2006 Tundra 4x4 Access cab 47 auto wtow package 91K miles in very good shape for a decent price. Estimated trailercrawler weight would be 5700lbs.

I dont have the tow package. Stiff ride will add HD shocks and may include air bags or extra leafs. We will be traveling from California to Yellowstone National Park.

A 40-liter245-horse V-6 shared with the Tacoma and 4Runner and a 47-liter282-horse V-8 thats also found in the Sequoia. That puts me a 1658 total if I carry nothing in my bed. Generally Toyota Tundra towing capacities range from a minimum of 8800 pounds to a maximum of 10200 pounds.

Looking at getting a new to me truck. It out tows my wifes armada. And a 42 double cab with a maximum towing capacity of 10200lbs.
