2000 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Wont Engage

2014 Tundra with 160k miles and this is the first real issue that I have had and I am dumbfounded.

2000 toyota tundra 4x4 wont engage. Tried to back up and see if it would engage and nothing put it back to 2wd and nothing it just keeps flashing 4wd HI. The 4x4 hi light is flashing and the truck wont shift the transfer case. 2000 Tundra Limited 4X4.

Ive seen a lot of questions re 4WD not engaging and 4WD light flashing. When I push the button to engage 4 wheel drive all I get is a flashing light. From there it will engage into 4lo as it should back to 4hi as it should and to 2wd as it should.
