2000 Toyota Tundra No Power To Fuel Pump Relay
The relay Primary -or- control side is powered by Pin 37 RED wire at the PCM.
2000 toyota tundra no power to fuel pump relay. All 5 terminals of the Fuel Pump relay socket are dead again this. I would first verify that the main EFI fuel pump and ignition fuses are not blown as these can sometimes cut off power to the fuel system. 2 volts apparently is not enough to switch the relay on to send power to the pump.
Often the relay is controlled by the fuel pressure sensor. Pull it out and with a test light see if there is power. You are going to have one wire from the fuel pump relay to the ignition switch.
The relay you are talking about is called the Circuit Opening Relay and is located on top of the ECU which is between the driver and passenger footwell behind the radio. Have a 2000 Toyota Tundra. If fuse is good then test the relay.
With the circuit opening relay I noticed that the base whatever its called that the relay plugs into was only providing 2 volts. Hi Team I got stuck in Three Rivers CA this past weekend and had my truck towed to Visalia Toyota. It is making up fine ie.
He ultimately concluded the plug going into the ECU which sends. The relay Primary control or ground circuit is operated by Pin 22 LIGHT BLUEORANGE wire at the PCM. There is no power at the fuel pump relay.
THe two fuel pump power leads still do not show any power. Have tried replacing the fuel pump relay the efi relay and the copn relay to no avail. At the control opening relay were getting power at timesand no power later on.
