2006 toyota tundra knock sensor location. New Serpentine belt up front all at 100000 miles. OBD2 Code P0328 Toyota definition. Typically this will occur with poor quality gasoline carbon buildup in the cylinders or timing that is too advanced.
2006 Toyota Tundra 40L 1GR-FE. Wondering if its worth pulling intake manifold to change the knock sensor I wanted to purest only happen when the car is damp. Just under the middle passenger side of the head and the driver side.
Most auto repair shops charge between 75 and 150 per hour. The location of a knock sensor is on the engine block cylinder head or intake manifold. The knock sensor is attached to the cylinder block.
Replacing knock sensors on a 06 Toyota Tundra. Tighten the knock sensor to 19 NM 14 lb ft Knock Sensor 34L VIN EOn lower left rear of engine below exhaust manifold. I have had no luck at all finding a harnessnew or used.
I changed the timing beltwater pump and tensioner. Ive consistantly thrown the P0330 code so its either the wire or the sensor so just to be safe im going to do the sensor and wire. 210000 and still going strong.
Clearing this code typically requires a new knock sensor. P0330 is a powertrain OBDII trouble code that has the same meaning for the Toyota Tundra as it would any other vehicle. To access the Upper AND Lower Intake will need to be removed.
